The Robert Menzel House was designed by architects Wolf & MacKenzie and built in 1895. It is a good example of Queen Anne style architecture with the "witches tower" as a prominent architectural feature. Robert Menzel came to Santa Clara in 1875 and was later City Treasurer and Superintendent of Schools.
