A trip to New Zealand in Atlasphere

Try it out in Atlasphere!

Amy recently took a self-guided tour of New Zealand, visiting a wide area of the South Island. Her posts are organized chronologically with photos and brief descriptions. At the bottom of each post are links taking you to the next or previous points on her itinerary. You can start by tapping on her Auckland marker, where her flight from the United States landed.

Shortly after her trip, the volcano on White Island erupted, making world wide news. A friend asked if Amy had been in any danger. This link was sufficient to give him context regarding her safety.

Again, picture posts like these are staples of other social media sites, but with a map as the canvas, they’re brought more to life with time and place context, enhancing the author’s story.
